WHERE IS CAMP KHWAI LOCATED?Camp Khwai is situated in the game rich Khwai area and is ideally located along the Khwai river, forming a natural border between the famous Moremi Game Reserve and the Khwai Concession. Khwai Concession is wedged between Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park. It offers a wildlife-rich patchwork of lagoons, shallow flooded pans, open grasslands, and woodland forests. Without a doubt one of the most scenic areas of Botswana, the Khwai Concession is 180,000ha of land in the northeastern Okavango Delta. It’s most well-known for its abundant population of wild dog, high concentrations of predators, and many other species. Despite its popularity and reputation for being rather busy, the game rich Khwai area offers an intense wildlife experience.
